Biography

Tyler Garrett, a Los Angeles-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer, originated from a small town in South Carolina. He grew up in a religious area where he was the lead singer in his church's youth group praise band. After high school, he relocated to Orlando, FL, then to Detroit, MI, before settling in Los Angeles, CA in 2018. His electronic music style blends emotional storytelling with electronic pop and drum & bass, characterized by a cinematic edge that moves between vulnerability and power.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Garrett began collaborating with a friend named John, a partnership that has resulted in over 250 demos, some of which he self-releases. His early releases include the EP 'Potential Love - EP' on July 21, 2020, and the single 'Won't Give Up' with MXTR on July 24, 2020. He followed these with the studio albums 'Morning Star' in 2021 and 'Mirage' in 2022. In 2023, he received two Josie Music Award nominations, one for Song of the Year (Modern Country).
